Dan looks chipper

Photosoc training today! Nice presentation on composition today from Rachel. It was useful to be reminded of how proper composition can make or break a photo, so to speak. Will try and gradually implement some of the ideas that were covered - or at least analyse and dissect what happens when I do things that go wrong!

This was taken at post-Photosoc training Dirty Duck, with some Photosoc-ers and housemates (minus Amber). Nice to relax post-essay with the chaps and introduce them to some of the Photosoc lot :D
The 50mm 1.8 works really well indoors, provided that there's ample space to frame the subject. Managed to snap a nice, sharp headshot of Mr Daan Bosma, Dutchman, goalkeeper and housemate extraordinaire as he waved a chip!
