I Love Lamp: Abstract Lampshade

Fresh with ideas from yesterday's composition training, I had a hunt around the house for a subject I could isolate. Eventually I settled on my lampshade again . This time I changed the angle of attack and isolated a decorative part (the pointy bit at the bottom". In black and white the petal-like features strongly reflect the radial lines of the lampshade itself.

Aesthetically pleasing, no? I love lamp.
