"The Fire" ...

...I was intending to post another capture of one of the paddle steamers today, but instead, on our way to see the doctor - we noticed that overnight our favorite little Mini Mart had burnt down..

...It's not near us, but on the other side of town, but we often called there for what we wanted, and we were there - just yesterday where we bought 2 lovely big water melons for $4 ea, so sweet they are, and now - the rest would have been burnt to a crisp as well as the building..

...On LARGE you may be able to see it still smouldering there..

...The shop has been there for many years and was so popular, especially with the Schools nearby, and indeed it shall be very much missed by the locals who live around there as well..We can only hope there will be another replacement Mini Mart there, who knows...but very sad for the owners...
