A dull day?

By the time I got my second walk the sun had gone completely. It was a dull afternoon. Well my peoples told me to say it was dull but really I have no idea what she means by this. Certainly not dull as far as I am concerned.

We make our own colour, my peoples and me. Just look at the colour in these woods!
