Sub-Zero

We are having extreme cold here in Upstate New York. Of course, it is colder up in North Country, but when the temp is -16C, without a windchill, I'm happy to stay inside.

Fortunately, I did not have to leave the house today, and at least the sun has been shining. The clear blue sky reminds me that it will be very cold tonight as well.

Both of my cats have been curled up on my bed all day, snuggled in tight round furriness. Oliver took a break from his slumber to stare at me.

I wonder what he was thinking about? Right after I took this photo, he cleaned himself a bit and then went back to sleep.

Such is the life of a cat on a sub-zero day.
