I know my birthday was in December but I'm at a bit of a loss for a blip having taken two dire photos of the 'fancy pieces' at Book Club tonight. I love this necklace by the Spanish company 'Uno de 50' - especially the little salamander nestling along its length.

Anyway Book Club was fun tonight with lots of chat and laughter. We discovered we'll be 20 years old next September. I really, really loved 'The Fault in our Stars' by John Green and have gone on to another of his, 'Looking for Alaska'. I read they were aimed at young adults so I sent a couple to Catherine and Izzy. Our book for next month is 'The Rosie Project' by John Simsion.

No long lie as last visit, for a while, to the dentist at 9.30 a.m. Now comes the really painful part - paying!
