RIP Evie

Really sad news today. my son and his wife have had to make that awful decision to let Evie go.
She's 13 and has been with them since she was 6. The photo is the first time we met her when they came up to stay for Pickering war weekend in 2006. They had just bought their first house together and Lucie was desperate for her first dog.

Evie was a real red head and quite fiery with Forrest. They had a real love/hate relationship. She been great with the baby over the last year and a proper little sweetheart with people.

Sadly she developed an infection a couple of days ago and has not responded to treatment.

We will all miss her.
