Mosaic floor at Hannon Hotel

Hannon Hotel is a great example of the Art Nouveau style that abounds in Belgium. Art Nouveau was already well established in Brussels by the time the mansion was built in 1904, but interesting, this was classically-trained architect Jules Brunfaut's first attempt at the style. The entrance boasts a beautiful mosaic floor with a circular theme, and its open plan is very different from the traditional Belgian home.
