Cross my palm

Terrible pun. I'll explain.

I've wanted to take a picture of this palm for a while. It's in a corner of the school grounds, looking a bit out-of-place in South London in January. Its leaves are vast; emerald green in the middle, yolk yellow at the ends. It's a beauty.

And in other news .. I got a pay rise today! Yay!

Hence the title :-)
