Dragons Den

We call this the dragon but really it's a lizard. It was carved into the branch by a chain saw artist when India was about a week old, Mark was walking Mr.Dylan and noticed a group of people getting soaked in a downpour watching the carving. He said it was amazing watching it being created. It looked strange for a long time, bright orangey newly cut wood colour but is now part and parcel of the tree. We reckon it guards this conservation area where we walk the dogs.

Glamorous day today as had my haircut in preparation for the big four oh party on Saturday. Jennie made the swimming lunch soup for girls and mums before the lesson. India made lovely cupcakes at cookery club then we whizzed her to Brownies. Grandad sent me some lovely pink flowers for my birthday and I had a good chat with him when he rang later on. After getting a new phone this morning I have concluded that the i is for infuriating.
