Little red lanterns 23/365

Heading home from work tonight I walked through Belmore Park which is busy getting ready for the Chinese New Year celebrations.

When I saw this picture the red lanterns looked so pretty against the green of the leaves. But, something about the light, time of night and probably just another quirk of the trusty iPhone camera and the picture came out like once of those fancy shots where it's all black and white with a few colours picked out (not sure of the technical term but you know the ones I mean).

So, looking a lot like a photoshopped blip but with honestly only a fancy little filter over the top (god bless you Mr. Punch) here is today's blip-tastic offering; little red lanterns.
