Get together at Nanny's house xx

Eva slept through yet again :-) I watched her on the camera at 8am playing with her teddies in her cot, but was just about to go in and get her around 8.15am, and she'd gone back to sleep. So I got myself showered and ready, and went into her at 9, just as she woke again.

We went off to Noah's Ark stay and play this morning for the 2nd time. The story today was one of Eva's favourites, and a book I've read her many times at home... Dear Zoo... She loves to lift the flaps to reveal the animals underneath. Today, the man reading the story was letting a different child lift each flap, and Eva got to lift the flap to reveal the camel. She ate some banana at snack time whilst I held her on the little chair (they don't have baby chairs or highchairs, so I held her on the kiddy chair so she could sit like the other children). We went and played in the baby area on the mats then, and I read her 2 more books, an In The Night Garden one and one about a creature called Dudley which was actually a puppet you put your hand in and it poked through each page. I went and fetched Jen and I a coffee each and a few biscuits, and I broke some biscuit off for Eva to eat, which she enjoyed. At song time, I perched on one of the little kiddy chairs with Eva sat on my lap clutching a maracas in each hand, and she shook them along to the lady playing her guitar, as we all sang The Wheels on the Bus, If You're Happy and You Know It and I'm A Dingle Dangle Scarecrow.

Eva again had a mammoth sleep when we got home. She went to bed at 12.30pm, and I went in to wake her at 3pm, as we were meant to be going round my moms around 2, and she still hadn't had lunch. My sister arrived just as I was about to give her her dinner, which was a lovely surprise, so she ended up coming round my moms with us.

We eventually got to Nanny and Grandad's just before 4 pm. They'd been in Spain, so we hadn't seen them for a couple of weeks, so was lovely to catch up. My dad arrived there too just as I was pulling up, so there ended up being me and Eva, Aunty Liza, Nanny and Grandad Stevenson and Grandad Hopkins. It was lovely. Eva was in her element with all the attention and was doing lots of smiling, pointing and whispering "ha tah, ha tah". She enjoyed having her bottle off Aunty Liza and even held it herself. (Today's pic)

I cooked Eva one of my homemade fishcakes for dinner, but she didn't really eat much of it. Mike took her up for her bath, then she had an absolute load of milk from me, plus regulation cuddles, and was fast asleep in bed by just after 8pm xxx
