Umuganda

A slow but reaxing day today. It's is Umuganda - which means that no one works at their normal jobs but everyone helps out and works for the community. This can be painting a school, clearing ditches, sorting rubbish or whatever is needed. Although there are some grumbles everyone seems to do it. I think it's a brilliant idea - working for the community is something we should all do more often!

After this afternoon's rainstorm I took a walk enjoying the beautiful flowers & greenery. The sunbirds were feeding on the hibiscus but I didn't manage to capture them.
