The Vicar's Close, Chichester

Despite not feeling well today, we went down to Chichester. While Mum was at the shops I took a walk around various parts of the city centre. These houses lie to the south of the Cathedral Cloisters. They date from the 15th and early 16th Centuries. They all have very attractive front gardens and a passageway runs past them. There are two rows and the other row is hidden behind a high wall and the frontage on that side is hidden by shops in South Street. A very picturesque corner of Chichester .
