Its Sunday evening...so that means podcast time.

I've been pretty poor over the last 6 weeks with being away so much. I normally like to get the church services edited, uploaded and podcast by Sunday evening.

Despite always likeing the latest software, when it comes to audio editing, I still love my old Steinberg Wavelab.

The audio files are captured in 44.1khz uncompresses WAV format on a Zoom H4 digital recorder (for quality).

The files are loaded into Wavelab, trimmed, some compression added (multiband compressor with a nice FM radio style preset) and then saved ready for any CD orders.

These master edits are then converted into 192kbps stereo and 48kbps mono MP3s. These are then uploaded to my online storage at drivehq.

A couple of rss podcast feeds are then edited up with the podcast details. These are then uploaded as well as an update to the church website, all ready for everyine to download.

Takes an hour or so each week.

Lazy day today...part of the "chill weekend". Finished the left over curry for tea.
