It's now 02.30am and Bingo will not come onto our patio for her biscuit. Understandably she's frightened and nervous ....... why?????
At around 4.45pm yesterday afternoon we were hit with some kind of freak storm/hurricane/tornado. We appear to have no major structural damage but, have lost trees at the bottom of our garden which has taken out our bottom fence. Thankfully, when a huge 60ft pine tree fell it missed our neighbours stable block where four horses where inside. Although they are still currently trapped, they are unharmed and this morning a team of tree surgeons will be around to help aid their release.
Of course we were concerned for Bingo, but thankfully she did appear last night for her custard creams and seemed unharmed, if not, a bit nervous - and I don't blame her.
We are leaving for the airport at 4am, so I was not expecting to see her before we left, but I noticed her up the garden when I came downstairs. She wouldn't come to me when I called her so this is an extremely grainy capture of her sitting half way up the lawn.
I think there's going to be an insurance claim to tidy up the damage from the freaky storm - when is this quirky weather going to stop???
