Three Beasts

These are the warmest and sweetest cats in the world. When I'm lucky enough to get all three in a frame, all eyes open, it's an occasion to remember how much love them. It is a piece of wonderful fortune that I have them and they have me.

Max often extends his paw like that when he's lounging on the bed. Carlo would never hold that particular pose. In fact, Max did the same thing almost exactly two years ago, posing for the same portrait!
