Ingredients

These are many of the ingredients I have set aside for my Welsh cawl, on schedule for Saturday evening. If I'd thought of including the leek I bought in this picture, it would be more correct, for sure.

The snow is falling thickly, and I still need to make an excursion for goat meat and some other items I'll need. I do not look forward to the driving, but it's good to have a borrowed car.

It's very cold. Just the right weather for a cawl!
