The "Gnome Convention"

What better way to celebrate Australia Day than going to the "Gnome Convention" at Gnomebrook!! For 10 years now the Lower Blue Mountains Rotary Club has been holding the convention and attracts gnomes from all over Australia. It's a wonderful family event and there were hundreds of people there today enjoying the festivities.
Even the Governor of NSW decided to fly in by helicopter to inspect the gnomes in all their glory, it's become such a huge event.

This little gnome got right into the spirit of the day and was among thousands of gnomes who attended.

You can't go to a Rotary event without being having your arm twisted to buy a sausage sizzle sandwich and we really enjoyed ours today.
