Sunshine after the rain

I slept in until 8.45! Amazing for me!
Spent the day doing usual stuff around the house and watched Skiing and rugby on tv. Around 3pm the sky suddenly went dark as night, the wind whipped up and then it rained so hard the driveway was awash. It thundered and we had lightning for about 10 minutes before it blew away and the sun came back out! Freaky weather! The wind was bitingly cold when we went out that evening to see our friends that had returned from Australia.

I should have written this before I went out but I'm writing it from my bed on this grey Sunday morning..
Suppose I should get up in a minute.. ;-)
