Sun through the snow!

No, its not a dirty lens. Just the sun trying to peek through the snow. So many bursts of big snow flurries today so it was nice to see the sun making an attempt to brighten the day.

This has been the snowiest January on record for Michigan and it's the winter we move here. I mentioned that to my husband and he said if I can survive this then the rest of the winters will be a piece of cake.

I guess we have been lulled into more mild winters in the midwest these past few years. I do remember growing up in Wisconsin that is was always cold, always snowing and it lasted forever. We dealt with it then so I guess it's time to buck up and do it again and enjoy the beauty in it. . . easier said than done!
