An unplanned sea day

Due to rough weather and force 10 winds, we are not docking at Portland, Maine today. We left Halifax late last night and are heading straight for Boston.

So a leisurely day!! The film Les Mis is on one of the TV channels running on a loop, so has provided background music in the cabin for me to sing along to!!

I’ve finished “Ship of Brides”, by Jojo Moyes and got an Anita Shreve book “Change in Altitude” from the library.

Pub lunch – Chicken Curry….tasty!

Then another wine tasting session. Confirmed my opinion that no one does a Sauvignon Blanc better than the New Zealand wineries!!

We had planned an Italian dinner tonight, but as that restaurant is high up at the back of the ship and we are bouncing along like a white water rafters, we may end up wearing more food that eating it, so we have given it a miss!!
