Halal meat, anyone?

Supermarkets in Longsight couldn’t be more different than those in Patagonia. No beef or pork (to avoid offending the sensibilities of divers sectors of the community) and the ‘Halal’ meat on offer is prepared in strict accordance with Islamic Law. A long way from my last asado in San Martin.
