Every cloud has a silver lining
It's been exceedingly wet and windy today, so we've not been very far. Irene & Andy left after breakfast, and Alan's full of a cold so I left him in bed to sleep while I went to the Marina.
I had a blip in mind of the dodgems at the little funfair, but when I got there, they'd been dismantled, so I headed to the water to take some shots of the boats. It was raining so hard that I got soaked, so I didn't stay long and then came home to get changed. When I looked through my photos they were quite disappointing, but luckily this afternoon, the sky started to clear and Alan said he fancied having a walk to the beach to get some air. They say every cloud has a silver lining and that was true - the sun was starting to set when we get there, and of course I'd taken my camera.
We had a drink at a cafe we haven't tried before, which overlooks the beach, and all the tables are alongside the window so we could sit and watch the sky changing and the waves crashing. Anyway, we're back home and I've got the dinner cooking, then it's a night in front of the TV. Hope you're having a good Sunday and the weather's ok where you are.
