Doha Days

The last cab off the block ....

I parked here at 0600 this morning, outside my office. At 1600 I return to my ageing V6 4x4 "tank" to do battle with the homebound Doha traffic. Interestingly, this quieter side street is actually more dangerous than the congested freeways as some Qataris drive along here as if it were their private race track. There are so few Qataris, vis a vis the rest of us Ex Patriates here, that they do have a totally proprietorial attitude to everything.
