Holly & Purple Sky, Aylesford

Day 26 of 365. Absolutely rubbish day weather wise so didn't have much of chance to take a photograph today. The image is of the holly hedge (not a bush, definitely a hedge!) belonging to the next door neighbour. I just really like the shape of the holly leaves against this strange purple sky that appeared after a day of wind and rain.
As for my activities today I decided to get organised and do some cooking, or at least some preparation, for the meals during the week. There is something about coming in after a really crap day at work and having to cook something from scratch that I sometimes find really hard and, for some reason, rather dispiriting. Maybe it's just the January Blues and all this poor weather!
