Mud, mud glorious mud

My son's shoes from the cross country competition yesterday!

The runners tape their shoes on with electricians tape, mud can be strong stuff!. He tells be that there are different types of mud - watery and slippery mud you skid on and mud, like yesterday's, the claggy clay type that grabs hold of your feet and attempts to pull you in.. There was at least one runner who had lost a shoe.

And every week the shoes need cleaning..... mud, mud glorious mud,,,,,,,,
