A Germanic Australia Day

I had an excellent Australia day today. After getting work out of the way early Holly, Jono and I headed down to Brunswick Street in Fitzroy to go to the Cider house where Holly had purchased us tickets for their Australia day festivities. This included a pulled pork and coleslaw roll, an apple crumble and a stein of cider of any off the 22 ciders and beers they had on tap, with $8 refills of that stein for the rest of the day.

We were met their by two of Holly's friends, Swilly and Kate, and had an excellent day drinking and talking. The place got nice and crowded but had a very good feel about it with the hottest 100 being played over the top of all this.

This photo was some more excellent graffiti that we spotted just off Brunswick Street and was a nice easy blip for me to get, which is always a good thing.
