Hello Toto

I was having a look online at the local paper called GumTree which is a place to sell things including pets. Came across a heart wrenching ad looking for a new home for Toto who is a 4 year old pedigreed Cairn Terrior. (Toto in the Wizard of Oz was also a Cairn Terrior :)

Spoke to my husband to see what he thought and we both decided we should go and meet him. As you know we lost our dear Jake last year and we havent really felt ready for another dog but today somehow Toto won our hearts!

It really was love at first sight and although his family were sad to see him go they seemed to be very happy that we wanted him!

He is having trouble tackling the stairs in our building, so we've had to carry him up and down which is quite hilarious as he is heavy!! Hopefully it wont take long for him to conquer his fear of them!

He is a very sweet fellow, friendly and interested in everything! He has a few bad habits that we will have to get on top of, and he seems a bit overwhelmed by the sudden change in his circumstances but overall I think he's brilliant and will fit in fine with us!! So happy! :D
