Egret you eejit

So it's an Egret...that's what my bird book says. Knew what it was called in Japanese but didn't know what it was called in English. Maybe I've been here too long.

I was running an errand when I ran into some egrets. This was my attempt to get close enough for a shot of them stalking fish in the river. As you can see my stealth like ninja approach technique was too subtle for them to detect and I was able to compose the perfect shot and frame them against a beautiful non-distracting natural background.

Have to go into central Tokyo again tomorrow. There will be no Egrets. Perhaps some feral businessmen.
