Birch wood

There are some deep boggy holes and ditches on Wisley Common. I know this because shortly after taking this image I fell in one. Not quite total immersion, but not far off. I'm hoping it isn't curtains for the camera but it's not looking good. I salvaged a few images using the card reader but the camera is not registering a pulse. It's drying out right now in the airing cupboard. Unless something dramatic happens, this might be my last blip for a while. Oh well, I needed to break the chain!

Update: A spell in the airing cupboard seems to have done the trick. It's working again.
