Thank you for your concern about Gavin yesterday - today went better and there were no trees jumping out and lying across the road waiting for him on his way to work this morning!

The forecast said it would rain today so straight after the school run I went to get some photos at Black Pond in the sunlight. It was so muddy walking there through the woods that I was very grateful I had decided to leave Murdoch at home (albeit a little guilty when I saw the other dogs). The mud was really squelchy and at times I half expected to slip and end up in the thick mud with my camera. Wellies are not always the best things for such muddy conditions.

I am still trying to catch up watching Borgen III, which is brilliant as always (we could do with a female leader like that) - then I have The Bridge II to watch - somehow I am very behind on my viewing. I only finished watching the season finale of Boardwalk Empire last night. If you look away in the violent parts it is an excellent series. And then it seems I will have to buy the box set of Breaking Bad....
