Wet grass

The day started very badly with Gavin leaving early this morning to drive to Bristol for some meetings, only to return home a little while later - he had crashed into a fallen tree that was blocking the road, only a few 100 metres from our house. It was dark and by the time he saw it and applied brakes, he skidded right into the enormous tree. He then he walked back home and waited for the police, the fire department to remove the tree and the tow truck to take away his damaged car (which could no longer be driven). Our road was blocked for ages and currently the car has been taken away but the tree is still blocking the road! We did have some serious high winds in the storms on the weekend and I guess there are many fallen trees to clear up.

On the walk with Murdoch I noticed all these lovely water droplets on the grass. Although it is sunny I think this week it will be getting colder.

Now I have a husband working from home which means he will probably want lunch in a short while...
