Birthday boy!

1 year old today.

Wow, always such a special time birthdays as you remember how much has gone in in the year, it never seems long since a year ago and yet it can feel like a lifetime too. I love birthdays.

Saying that, we didn't get up to much today as we were up for about 3 hours in the night with herbie, nose totally blocked, coughing and generally feeling pretty poorly. Least we were up to reminisce over the moments and hours that followed that wonderful moment where we got to meet our little man for the first time. That has to be one of life's most amazing moments.

After much deliberation we decided not to go to the docs as not much they can do for a wheezy cough, ( although I may well go tomorrow if no improvement in the am, just to be sure! )
Then went off to the play barn at Cheshire ice cream factory, for a bit of a crawl around and some lunch. Really rainy day so didn't even get out for a walk.

Can't wait to watch him grow and change in the coming year. I love you so much little man. You are the best change that has ever taken place in my life. X
