Alive

Another trip out to the flicks, for a preview of the forthcoming Jim Jarmusch film 'Only Lovers Left Alive', a vampire film very much in the arthouse tradition. I'm not going to say anything 'about' it whatsoever because there were so many great little bits going on that to mention just one of them could count as a spoiler. I really liked it, I've been a huge fan of Jim's for donkeys' years but his last couple of films have left me a bit cold (in fact I actively disliked his last one, let's be honest) so good to see him back on form.

I had a little detour on the way home for pictures, it seemed only good and proper after seeing all the crepuscular goings-on up on the screen to have a dark, night blip today.
