Lava!

Flew to Big Island and went to see the lava flows hitting the ocean in the evening. The show was spectacular - even from half a mile away (which was the closest we were allowed to get). There are some spectacular professional photographs of the lavaflows, and we are now proud owners of a lava-flow calendar, but this was the best I could do with a compact camera and a steady(ish) hand!
