Mauna Loa Caldera

We stayed in a hotel overlooking the caldera - unfortunately much of the park was closed due to the sulphurous gas emissions, but we still got to see the size of the crater.

Not quite as spectacular as the early 20th Century when it was a pool of molten lava, but quite awe-inspiring nonetheless.
