Rain Forest

Walking in Parkhurst Forest after the morning rain I came across this area which is normally a forest hollow, but with all the excess rainfall has turned into a full sized deep pond resembling a small area of rain forest.

The still waters created some superb reflections. There is a colony of Red Squirrels in this area so there are probably lots of nuts buried deep under water.
