Ice drama

Spent today in the Peak District, so was hoping to capture some if its grandeur, but it did not look so great viewed through constantly swishing windscreen wipers.

This evening was fun though. Back down to the Cotswolds, where our hosts staged an adventure theme for the first UK drive of the new Skoda Yeti. They invited us to carve suitable pictures in vast blocks of ice, using chisels. Much mirth ensued. Our team imagined the sturdy car battling through the flooded countryside and set to work etching deep waves into the ice.

Is it futile to wish for a drier day tomorrow ... ?
