The only snow

Snowdrops in the churchyard this morning, bringing a little brightness to a very grey, murky day!
Fortunately I had a free day, as I have a cold and it was as much as I wanted to do to take the dog out!
So, feeling very lazy, I thought I would curl up on the sofa with my box of tissues and watch a DVD in the afternoon.
However, after about five minutes, the power went off in our part of the village, so no DVD watching, not even a hot drink!
F came in later and got out the camping gas ring; we found candles and planned to light the fire.
Just as it was getting dark, power was restored!
