Winter Chandeliers

It'll be a long time before we see ice in trees again. Hopefully. Today the sun fights back. Finally.

Not a cloud in the sky this morning, sun is up and the thaw is well underway. It reached at least -8 this morning. In the last 30 minutes it's up to -4C and it should hit the heady heights of 8C by midday.

But get this - by Saturday it'll be back to 20C!

The county is still closed until midday according to the news and they are expecting everything to (try and) open up once we're back into positive temperatures.

The media is trying to pin this on a failure of politicians, but most people simply understand that Florida is not going to buy snowploughs anytime soon, regardless of budget surplus (we paid the surplus to the teachers).
