We sailed for 2hrs along the Elizabeth River to reach our berth for today. A fascinating trip if you are a fan of NCIS and into ships, as it is homeport to the Atlantic fleet, over 100 ships. Great photo opportunities!!

The skies were busy with helicopters and airborne early warning aircraft monitoring the situation.

We docked next to the USS Wisconsin which is accessible via the Nauticus Museum.

We visited the MacArthur Museum and then on to Norfolk Naval Station, where we saw some of the ship from ground level and heard about the history of the development of the housing on the base.
