New York!!

Up at “silly time” to see the sights as we sailed in to New York (the pilot boarded at 4:38 – but I wasn’t that early!!!)

Our cabin was on the starboard side and the Statue of Liberty on the port side, so I had to quickly get dressed and get to a suitable open deck to take pictures. We docked on the Brooklyn side and as the ship had done one of her twirls we were tied up facing the river and the Statue of Liberty for the rest of the day!! Magic!!

Our city tour was by coach and very interesting, but not ideal for photo opportunities, due to the reflections on the windows!! But we had a chance at Battery Park to get a shot of One World Trade Centre. The last time we visited we were off and on the coach frequently and captured loads of shots. This time I have focussed on the river and its traffic.

As we returned to the ship there was an amazing stained glass window in the Brooklyn Passenger Terminal.

More pictures.
