Montana de Tauro

Today has been the most strenuous I've had in months. I could have blipped a pic of the fantastic balcony path with which we began our climb - think Last of the Mohicans or LOTR - but chose this view from near the summit of Montana de Tauro, which is about the same height as Ben Lui in Scotland, showing the valley we walked on Monday.

There were times when it felt more like a Scottish climb right enough, as a strong wind had us pulling out the fleeces we've carried faithfully all week, and a fine drizzle justified the lugging of cagoules as well.

But down here at the hotel, the sun is as warm as ever, the beer as cold. A great day!
