STV Studios

Early start this morning, as my wife needed to be in Glasgow to catch the 8.00am train from Glasgow Queen Street Station to Dundee.

As the sun was starting to rise over the city I made my way down to Pacific Quay. I liked this viewpoint across the River Clyde towards the STV Studios. Worth looking large.

STV (Scottish Television) has been around since the 1950s and is the second oldest ITV franchisee. In 2006, the newly rebranded STV moved from their Cowcaddens base to a new building at Pacific Quay alongside the headquarters of BBC Scotland.
