Old Gnarled Weathered Oak Tree

I was hoping it was going to stop raining - but it didn't! Late afternoon, I needed to get a couple of things and after that I drove the long country road back, the wipers working overtime.

I photographed a this and the village Old Post Office but this picture of the Old Oak Tree seemed more appropriate; after all, it's been there at least a couple of hundered years or more.......and probably seen weather like this before. If only it could speak.

I love post processing have given it an art effect. I apologise to any purists looking in!
