A Desperate Win

Yet another dark and dismal rainy day which would have been made even worse if Cardiff City had lost against Norwich City today.

Cardiff found themselves down not long after the start as Norwich looked by far the better team until the break. Things were not looking good with Cardiff needing all three points as they were bottom of The Barclays Premier League.

Just after the break, Craig Bellamy equalised. A couple of minutes later, Kenwyne Jones, on his debut, scored the winner putting away the rebound from his header a second earlier. My picture shows Jones in the red No. 9 shirt just as he scores.

Cardiff held on under immense pressure from Norwich, much thanks to Cardiff's wonder keeper Marshall who made a couple of world class saves.

Well, this win brightened up my weekend. What rain?
