Ablaze...

Today I played with chemicals and made some very cool colours in my chem lab. The blue of cobalt phosphate and the yellow from lead iodide were the most striking.
It's been a very tiring but good week. Got to see our scanning electron and transmission electron microscopes yesterday. Saw the preparation of a sample of Artemia franciscana (brine shrimp, aka sea monkeys) for viewing. very interesting.
