The QP Outdoor Group head for the hills

The intrepid Enthusiastic Eight headed for Dumgoyne today. However once out of the shelter of the trees, we experienced 50mph winds, horizontal snow, and mud slides! So just after halfway up we figured that we would prefer to live to see another day and abandoned our brave attempt.

Dumgoyne, we will be back. You have not beaten us yet!!

All was not lost however and we had a good chat over a cup of coffee afterwards.
