Bar Surf [3/5]
Day 3 of Hoonay made for a very hoonergetic night. I mainly took videos however, meaning I haven't ended up with a great photo to blip... This will have to do. Ben, Denton, Sam Brooks and another friend (who's name I missed) all under their pints in the Duck.
Classic chill morning, as the flats sleepily woke up. Despite not having even gone out, Anu and Eve joined Emma, Kris and me on a post-hoon breakfast trip. We went to the new Bill’s on the parade, great place, great food. Despite the rainy weather (when will it stop???), it was super chill. We watched an episode of Sherlock at home. Eve and me are having trouble restraining ourselves from watching the 90 minute episodes. Plus, it’s not like me to get hooked to TV shows, but the cinematography and acting is amazing.
Time to suit up. Kris and me got some cheeseburgers and consequently missed the bus to campus. Still managed to make it to the last exec meeting ever! I don’t know if it was the fact that it was an open exec meeting (with some prospective-electees attending) or that Bar Surf was coming up, but the meeting certainly didn’t feel final. Still, it was a good meeting to finish on. Bye bye Photosoc in a week, damn. In the meanwhile…
BAR SURF. The one and only campus bar crawl hosted by Warwick Surf, hyped up all year and attended by at least 80 people. Starting at the Duck, hitting piazza, arts centre, costcutter, terrace bar and copper rooms, with a series of challenges printed on red pirate-themed Malibu t-shirts (see photo). Count on Surf to be overflowing with hoonergy, a night to be remembered, not least because I managed to film pretty much the whole night with a fisheye and LED flash. Gamble.
365 uploads reached. Landmark. Now to go back and upload all the missing photos from Uganda and Brazil. Lol jk, not yet, don't have the time!!!
peace
